James McCluskey

Mr. McCluskey’s career began at PWC’s financial services audit practice in New York. Later, he held finance, operations and information systems managerial positions at Continental Insurance and The Chubb Corporation, GE Capital’s group benefits unit directing the strategic finance functions resulting in the acquisition of Phoenix’ Group Benefits business. Later, Jim joined Lincoln Financial Group where he was involved in the acquisition of Jefferson Pilot and was instrumental in the early-stage development of AmWINs.
Jim was also instrumental in establishing and growing XShares, a firm developing and managing exchange traded funds (ETFs), including among others, funds providing access to the therapeutic verticals in the healthcare industry and later, leading finance, operational and growth initiatives for RiskX Investments, a mutual fund enterprise.
Jim also led finance, accounting and FP&A, directing the Data Governance function for AXIS Capital’s Accident & Health unit, also serving as the workstream leader in implementation of a new core transaction operating system significantly enhancing transaction processing. In addition, Jim also led the evaluation and ongoing oversight of investment and growth opportunities for A&H which included serving as a member of the board of directors of Century Healthcare.
Before joining AMIVA E.P, he most recently served as CFO for Healthcare Highways, overseeing the centralization of shared services disciplines during a time of significant expansion, directing enterprise-wide Finance, Technology and Human Resources and establishing claims repricing capabilities. .
